Robert C. Kopple and Leslie S. Klinger have over 85 combined years of experience practicing law in Los Angeles within the areas of family wealth planning, business transactions, taxation, and nonprofit organizations. For many of those years, they practiced as partners in large Los Angeles law firms. In 1992 they decided to form the boutique law firm of Kopple, Klinger & Elbaz LLP.

The goal of establishing the firm was to allow them to provide individuals, families, small business owners and nonprofit organizations the same sophisticated services as larger firms, but with the personal attention and efficiency of a small firm. Unlike large law firms, many at which have virtually abandoned the practice of personal tax and estate planning, Kopple & Klinger focuses on these areas.

In 2007, the firm admitted David J. Elbaz, previously an Associate with the firm, as a new partner. In 2009, the firm added Stacey Davy as a new associate, and in early 2012, the firm added Ryan D. Nowicki as an experienced associate. Finally, in mid-2015, the firm added Jessica Sibony as an experienced associate, renewing its commitment to serve the legal needs of individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations for many years to come.
